I try to dream…
But the horror strikes on me
I try to sway…
But they are waiting for me
Clutching me to the ground
With filthy claws and thorny paws
Nothing will save me but your love
Shining against all their dark
Breaking all walls built around
Tearing the shackles of ghostly nights

Thump thump
The town, Aegron, had been destroyed, Katrina knew this, had seen it. The Sekers had come and wiped it out, it happened sometimes, a way of life. The survivors would pack up and move to another town or they would wait for the brothers of Ammit to come and rescue them. This time Katrina new that no survivors would leave this place. Glancing toward the huge wardrobe where her two children had locked themselves, Katrina firmly told her self that someone would walk away, her babies would survive and go on to the next town.

Katrina's husband walked into the bedroom closing and locking a thick door behind him. In his hand

Two Days Not in a Row
Our author was floating on a sea of marshmallows and cream puffs. That is to say that he was on cloud 9. Not that every cloud out there is numbered and not to imply that any cloud is any better than another; it is merely a saying. Not that it is merely a saying implying that sayings are somehow a less effective way of getting a point across but just insofar as I'm going to ditch this joke here as it's gone on far too long.
Our author looked into his savior's emerald eyes and smiled in the security he felt in her arms. Her lips formed a smile as she said "You do realize that I'm just a mental construct you've created right?"

Truely Cruely
What would you say if I said
That LOVE was all in your head
A figment of your imagination
Stories told so often that they become true
Would you call me a liar
Or maybe slap me
Angrily say ~ Well what do I know
Or would you run out of the room in tears
And after either / or happened
And I was able to catch you
And hold you tight
Would you struggle to get away
Or risk a reality that only YOU know
Where LOVE does exist, Is real
And is warm like a lovers embrace
If I was unable to catch you
Would you think hard and return
Try to sit me down and talk calmly
Or point at my stupidity
But am I wrong

Wow, this really speaks to me. A lot. The best kind of poetry is the kind that allows itself to mold to the readers personal lives, and that's exactly what this does.
I relate closely to my OC's (they're a huge part of me), and this poem reminds me a lot of how D.J feels about Mandi once he realizes his feelings for her.
Thank you for writing this.
